Alumni have many volunteer opportunities available to demonstrate pride and make a significant impact. Whether you commit to one hour, an afternoon or an ongoing commitment, your participation strengthens the Temple community.

SERVE ON THE TUYAA BOARD

Temple Young Alumni leaders are elected by their peers to serve on the Temple University Young Alumni Association Board for a two-year term. Responsibilities include the creation and execution of diverse opportunities and experiences; the development of robust young alumni communications; serving as advocates and ambassadors for Temple University; and building awareness of the organization among Temple students, alumni and the community.

The current board was recently elected to serve for the July 1, 2022–June 30, 2024 term. Want to learn more or have questions? Email tuyaa@temple.edu.

Young Alumni Volunteer Network

Want to connect with Temple but aren’t sure whether you have the time to commit or if you can take part while living farther away from Philly?

The Temple University Young Alumni Association (TUYAA) aims to build a talented, diverse and upstanding cohort of young alumni volunteers that not only engage and give back to the Temple community but model what it truly means to be Temple alumni.

We hope to foster connections among young alumni everywhere; build a volunteer leadership pipeline for those interested in taking that next step; provide virtual volunteer opportunities for young alumni around the globe; and help educate our fellow Owls on all that Temple provides to alumni after graduation.

Highlights of being a young alumni volunteer:

  • participation in a dedicated virtual workspace where volunteers can network, share expertise, learn something new and ultimately have fun.
  • giving back with your time and talent.
  • access to exclusive opportunities for personal and professional development.
  • recognition in young alumni communications.
  • swag—who doesn’t need a 100th Temple tee?

Keep reading for more information on the different activities volunteers take part in that benefit the larger young alumni community and experience.
