During Homecoming Week, Temple alumni and students from across the nation and globe can participate in a run/walk. Use an app to run or walk a recommended virtual path on Temple Main Campus, the Temple University, Japan Campus, in Tokyo or the Temple University Rome campus. To accommodate all fitness levels and abilities, participants take the routes at their own pace. Feeling extra fit? Use one or more of the maps as many times as you’d like throughout the week.
We encourage you to take photos during your run/walk, wearing your best Temple gear, and tag the Temple University Young Alumni social media pages (@TempleTUYA on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter). Achievement awards can be earned in various categories.
Join us in exploring, connecting and getting active. All Temple and Philadelphia social distancing guidelines will be followed.
The event will run the entire week of Homecoming. You can try new or repeat any of the courses during that time.
To participate, make sure to:
1. Register here.
2. Download the RaceJoy app.
3. View the app instructions.
4. Search Run the T in the Featured Races.
5. Select "I Want to Be Tracked" to ensure you are eligible to win Temple swag!
6.Enter BIB number. This information is provided in the RunSignUp confirmation email and “find a participant” section of the RunSignUp page.
7. Complete setup and make sure to have the Cheers enabled to get fun Temple facts as you complete the courses.
