Board of Directors
Founded in 1927, the Temple University Alumni Association (TUAA) Board of Directors is comprised of representatives from each school and college, regional alumni chapters, shared interest societies, faculty and students. The TUAA Board represents every one of Temple’s more than 307,000 alumni living across the country and around the world.
The TUAA President enjoys full voting privileges as an ex-officio member of the University’s Board of Trustees. Other TUAA leaders serve on key university and Trustee committees, representing varied alumni interests.
Over the past decade, the TUAA Board has bestowed several million dollars to Temple University. These gifts have supported construction projects such as The Liacouras Center and the Medical School library, as well as initiatives to enrich alumni programming – reunions, alumni education, regional alumni chapters, Homecoming and Alumni Weekend, Temple Athletics programs – and foster closer relationships between alumni and the university.
