TUBAA: 2013 Annual Holiday Book Drive

The Temple University Black Alumni Alliance (TUBAA), in conjunction with Temple University Department of Campus Safety, is pleased to invite you to participate in their annual:

Project GIVE2013 Holiday Book Drive: Project GIVE

Giving Is Virtually Effortless! All alumni and friends of the Temple University Black Alumni Alliance are asked to donate NEW books to Project GIVE. The donated books are given out to young people in North Philadelphia at the Temple University Department of Campus Safety’s Holiday. The party is scheduled for Sunday morning, December 8, and everyone is invited to join in this special occasion to help with the distribution of the books.

Books should range from pre-school aged books to about 8th grade (reading levels). There isn’t a specific list of books, however everyone is asked to donate “their favorite children’s books”. This includes fairytales, classics, books by Black authors, and of course contemporary books are welcome as well. All books must be NEW.

All books need to be received in the Alumni office on or before Wednesday December 4, 2013.

Books can mailed, ordered online and/or hand delivered to:

Office of Alumni Relations
Temple University
1330 Polett Walk
Sullivan Hall, Suite 100
Philadelphia, PA 19122
Attention: TUBAA/Rick Delgiorno

The goal is 500 books. With your help, this goal can be reached.
