Tuesday, March 19
On March 19, Owls on the Hill Day takes place! Students will descend on the Capitol to visit the office of each member of the legislature and share their personal Temple stories. Temple Student Government has partnered with the Office of Government Affairs, and students will head to Harrisburg by the busload to make a difference.
This year, alumni are invited to join! Alumni will serve as group leaders and share their Temple experiences with members of the General Assembly. Each alumna/us will be partnered with a team of trained student advocates and go door-to-door in the Capitol. While in each office, students will discuss the work they’re doing at Temple, and their hopes for their careers. Alumni are encouraged to discuss how their experiences at Temple prepared them to work and serve their community.
Lunch, transportation from Main Campus, and talking points will be provided to all volunteers. If you don't need to take the bus from Main Campus, a meeting point will be provided.
