Stauffer Faculty Award
The Stauffer Award was created in 1973 by Joan D. Willson, the widow of Dr. Herbert M. Stauffer in honor of her late husband and his father, Dr. Milton F. Stauffer. The Award recognizes outstanding faculty service and seeks out those faculty members whose service extends beyond the classroom and University community. The Award was first presented by the TUAA at Founder’s Dinner in 1974. The endowed fund, created by Mrs. Willson, allows a cash prize of $4000 per year to a deserving faculty member who has excelled in the area of service to the University.

The TUAA’s Alumni Impact Awards will be presented annually to Temple University alumni for outstanding service, advocacy and contribution to their school or college, the alumni association and/or the University – individuals, who through such commitments, have proven an inspiration to others in their interest and support of Temple University.
