Stauffer Faculty Award

The Stauffer Award was created in 1973 by Joan D. Willson, the widow of Dr. Herbert M. Stauffer in honor of her late husband and his father, Dr. Milton F. Stauffer. The Award recognizes outstanding faculty service and seeks out those faculty members whose service extends beyond the classroom and University community. The Award was first presented by the TUAA at Founder’s Dinner in 1974. The endowed fund, created by Mrs. Willson, allows a cash prize of $4500 per year to a deserving faculty member who has excelled in the area of service to the University.
