Oh No!

It seems the page you were trying to reach is no longer active.

It could be our fault…we did just redesign our website! Either way, let us help you find your way back. If you’re not sure what you’re looking for, start at one of our two new websites, alumni.temple.edu or giving.temple.edu.

Here are some other suggestions:

  • If you typed in this address, check your spelling.

Temple License Plates
Put some Owl pride on your ride and be the envy of everyone on the road.

Temple License Plate Program

Alumni, students, parents, Temple employees and friends can purchase a Temple license plate through the Office of Alumni Relations. What’s event better is that portions of the Temple license plate fee qualify as a tax-deductible donation and directly benefit the Office of Alumni Relations and support alumni programming.

So when you purchase a Temple license plate, you’re not only showing your Temple spirit, but also paying it forward to your alma mater!

Application Fees by State

Pennsylvania: $75

Includes $24 DMV fee and $51 tax-deductible donation to Temple alumni programming

Delaware: $25
Includes $10 fee and $15 tax-deductible donation to Temple alumni programming

Maryland: $50
Includes $25 fee and $25 tax-deductible donation to Temple alumni programming

New Jersey: $75
Includes $50 fee and $25 tax-deductible donation to Temple alumni programming

Don’t live in one of these states? If you live in states where Temple license plates are unavailable you can still show off your Owl pride by purchasing a license plate frame from the University Bookstore. Also, make sure to update your contact information so you can be the first to know when Temple license plates expand to additional states.

Application Process
If you are interested in purchasing a Temple license plate, you must first fill out an online License Plate Request Form.

Once the online form is completed and submitted, you will receive a paper application for a Temple License Plate within 1-2 weeks.

You must then return the completed paper application to the Office of Alumni Relations, which is required to submit the application on an individual’s behalf to the motor vehicle department in his or her home state. The departments of motor vehicles participating in this program will not accept applications directly from individuals.

Once everything is completed and submitted, you should expect to receive your Temple organizational license plate within 4-6 weeks.
