What is Alumni Weekend?

Held on Main Campus, Alumni Weekend is a Temple Made celebration for every type of Owl. Alumni and their families—as well as current students, faculty and staff—are all invited to participate in events ranging from family-friendly activities like the Capt. Eileen Bradley Owl Prowl and 5K to the massive Dîner en Cherry party on Saturday night. Whatever activities you choose, we invite you to come back to campus, catch up with old friends, and help us welcome new graduates to the Temple alumni family.

Where is Alumni Weekend held?

Most Alumni Weekend activities are held on and around Temple’s Main Campus. (Some events may be held elsewhere in the city.)  See Plan Your Trip for information on travel, accommodations and more.

Who attends Alumni Weekend?

Everyone! Temple alumni and their families are all invited, as are faculty, staff, recent graduates and friends of the university. If you are a current Temple student and want to learn more about getting involved, please visit our website.

I’m not celebrating a class reunion. Is Alumni Weekend really for me?

Yes! All Temple alumni are invited to Alumni Weekend, regardless of graduation year. In addition to the weekend’s other events, we’ll be hosting the third annual Dîner en Cherry, an epic pop-up party for ALL alumni, the location of which will remain a secret right up until it’s time to party.

Do I need to register for Alumni Weekend?

While non-registered walk-up attendees are permitted, advanced registration is strongly encouraged in order to guarantee your space and avoid walk-up fees. The deadline for registration is Wednesday, June 7 at 11:59 p.m. During Alumni Weekend, on-site registration will be available at the Alumni Circle, located at the intersection of Liacouras and Polett Walks.

How much does it cost?

Many Alumni Weekend activities are free or moderately priced. You can find the cost of each event experience here. Special Temple Alumni Weekend discounts are also available for select Philadelphia area hotels and Amtrak travel. Visit Plan Your Trip for more information.

May I cancel my registration?

If you would like to cancel your registration, contact the Office of Alumni Relations at (215) 204-7521 or alumrel@temple.edu. You may cancel your registration at any time, but please note that refunds will not be given for cancellations made after Friday, June 2nd at 5:00 p.m.
