HELP Ministries operates a centralized emergency assistance office—known in the community as “The HELP Office”—for our community’s most vulnerable citizens, with services including: The central intake location for all Dauphin County shelters serving homeless women, single parents or families; Rental Assistance programs to help families in crisis avoid homelessness, or help those in homelessness to get back on their feet. Volunteers will assist the with indoor cleaning and organizing project, and possible painting. If the weather permits, volunteers may also help with outdoor clean-up activities.
