Welcome to the 10th Art Market at Tyler. The 21 featured artists, students, alumni and small businesses were juried by the Tyler Alumni Association Board to represent the diverse community and culture of artists from the Tyler School of Art and Architecture, the Philadelphia region and beyond. We’re excited to introduce many new artists as well as welcome back some well-known ones to this year’s market.
Art Market was started by the Tyler School of Art and Architecture Alumni Association Board. After receiving a project grant from the Temple University Alumni Association, Art Market evolved into the experience we know today. Typically held inside the Tyler School of Art and Architecture building on Main Campus during Homecoming Weekend, it’s an opportunity for current students, faculty, alumni, and regional artists and arts organizations to connect with each other and a larger audience.
The most recent in-person Art Market at Tyler occurred in October 2019. Due to precautions regarding COVID-19, we’re once again presenting Art Market in a virtual format.
In honor of this milestone anniversary, all proceeds from the application fees for this year’s event were donated to the Tyler School of Art and Architecture General Scholarship Fund. We were able to make a sizable donation in unrestricted financial aid dollars for deserving Tyler students, as these donations are crucial in positioning them for long-term success.
